Q: What makes Gomes Gems different from other online fashion and jewellery retailers?

At Gomes Gems World, fashion meets jewellery. Works by several designers who share our design philosophy are showcased alongside our lines of jewellery. It is a one stop shop for the fashionistas.

Q: Are there any stores I can visit to see the jewellery?

You can visit any of our Gomes Gems or Gitanjali stores across the country. We will soon be coming up with Gomes stores which will have both jewellery and fashion collections.

Q: Where are your clothes and jewellery made?

Our clothes are sourced from various well known designers, and are therefore made at various locations.

Our Jewellery is manufacture in Mumbai, India.

Q: How do you certify your jewellery?

All diamonds used in our items are accompanied by their original diamond certificate. Certification for items in our 'Diamond Jewellery Collection' depends on the size and quantity of the diamonds contained in the item. We do, of course, assure that all our diamonds are real and natural.

The gold used in all our jewellery is hallmarked.

Q: Are your clothes at the same price as at the designers outlet?

Yes the price mentioned on the website are the same, in fact most designers consider us as their online store.

Q: What if your customer service executive is not able to resolve my complaint?

We have expertise customer care team who are well trained for jewellery and apparels along with the process. You will definitely get a quick response and resolution for the query raised.

Q: What standard do you use for ring and bangle sizes?

We use the sizes used by all the jewelers across the country.

Q: Do pendants come with a chain?

No. Usually pendants are sold individually. However under certain schemes or promotions, certain designs may be offered with a chain. Also certain chain designs might be recommended for certain pendant designs.

Q: What if I don't know my ring size?

Our online sizing chart is a useful guide to knowing your ring size.

Q: Can I re-size my Ring after my purchase? How is the price adjusted?

Yes. In the event you want to resize your ring, the company will resize the ring free of cost except in certain cases where resizing is not possible

If the resized ring costs more than the existing ring, the incremental cost shall be borne by the customer

If for some reasons, your product needs to be repaired, the company shall repair/replace the product for charges to be determined on a case to case basis.

Shipping charges under Repairs & Resizing policy shall be borne by the customer.

This feature is not available for International Orders (Orders that will be shipped abroad from India)

Q: Can my local jeweler resize my ring for me?

Yes. It can be done if you choose to do so. However we do not recommend this practice. Gomes Gems takes no responsibility for the product once you choose to have any modifications done elsewhere.

Q: What sizes of solitaires do you carry?

We carry more than 100,000 solitaires of all shapes and sizes.

Q: Are the clothes sizes standard? How do I pick my size?

The sizes may vary as per designers. Our online sizing chart is customized to each designer, and is a useful tool to help you find your size. The size chart is given as the last image amongst the product images.

Q: Can I have clothes customized to fit my size in case they are not available in my size online?

It may be possible depending on the product categoru. You can contact one of our executives, and they will be able to help you.

Q: Can I have a local craftsman alter the size of my clothes for me?

Yes. It can be done if you choose to do so. However we do not recommend this practice. Gomes Gems takes no responsibility for the product once you choose to have any modifications done elsewhere.

Q: How to order on Gomes Gems

Gomes Gems is an online marketplace for Jewellery and designer apparels. We have limited Cash on Delivery for domestic orders which means the payment method is mostly via Credit/Debit card using our various payment gateways.

We also accept Credit/Debit Cards for all international orders.

Please find below the step to place an order.

  • The first step is to browse products and then click on "Shop Now" which routes to the product page.
  • Click on "Add To Bag" to your shopping cart where your products will be saved as you continue shopping.
  • Once you have done with the product selection click on shopping bag
  • You can also apply any coupon if you have at this step by clicking "Apply Coupon" and click on "Proceed to checkout"
  • You will be asked to login with your email-id if you already have registered customer with Gomes Gems. If you are buying for the first time, you can continue as guest or get registered by adding required details.
  • If you want to proceed as a guest then please enter your billing address.
  • By default the shipping address will be same as billing address but if you want to have a different shipping address, click "Ship to Different Address" and enter shipping address.
  • Please select payment gateway to pay via Credit/Debit Cards or Net banking via Indian Banks. Please select Payu for all international cards.
  • If Cash on Delivery is available, those will also be given as an option to pay. Please note that COD is available only on jewellery and not on apparels.
  • Post payment selection click on "Place Order" an order number will be generated and confirmation mail will be sent to mentioned or registered email id.

Q: Can I Shop by phone?

Unfortunately we do not have an option of shop by phone. However, you can call customer care team who can assist with the step to place an order.

Q: How do I know my order is confirmed?

You will get a confirmation email along with the product and order details on the email address mentioned on the order.

Q: How do I Cancel an Order?

Products and services once booked through Gomes Gems cannot be cancelled and the refunds once the order is ready to ship or in transit. However, exceptional cases of 'manufacturing defect' and ' wrong consignment ' can be dealt with separately after verification of proof and based on established facts with vendor partners on case to case basis.

The order may be cancelled before shipment due to any of the following reasons;

  • The order could not be shipped within the specified timeline.
  • Any other force majeure reason beyond the control of vendors or Gomes Gems, including bandh, strike, natural climatic, etc.

Q: How do I make a payment for my purchases?

We offer multiple payment options, which include Online (Credit/Debit Card) and Cash-on-Delivery for domestic and online payments (Credit/Debit Card) for International orders.


Customers can make their purchase payment using Credit and Debit card.

  • Credit Card: All Visa, Master and American Express (AMEX) Credit Cards are accepted
  • Debit Card: All Visa, Maestro and RuPay Debit Cards are accepted

Cash on Delivery:

Cash-on-Delivery (COD) is a payment method where you pay for a product in cash, when the courier company delivers it to you. COD option is available on select pin codes up to Rs.30,000. COD facility is not available for apparels.

Q: How do I pay using my Credit or Debit card? Are these transactions safe?

We have top payment gateways partner which is safe and secure to transact.

Q: What are your delivery charges? How are they charged to me?

We offer flat Rs.150 on every product ordered within India. Your order will be shipped to you fully insured. We urge all customers to inspect the package for any damage or tamper before receiving or signing for receipt.

For our Indian customers, after your item has been packaged, it will be shipped and delivered via one of the following carriers.

  • Ecomm Express
  • Blue Dart
  • Ship Delight

For our International customers, after your item has been packaged, it will be shipped and delivered via the following carrier.

  • DHL

The shipping charges for our international customers are charged at the time of order booking.

Q: What is your delivery time?

For Apparels:

Gomes Gems is all about displaying high-end jewellery and Designer clothing, the fulfillment process which includes Manufacturing and Quality Check will be differ from product to product. Information will be displayed in the product page.

Generally the delivery gets done within 5-7 Business days for domestic orders and 15-21 Business days for International Orders (Post Manufacturing and Quality Check).

For Jewellery:

How will the delivery be done?

Our courier partners will contact you and fix the date and time of delivery at the specified delivery address. This delivery address cannot be changed once the product is processed for shipment.

Q: How safe is the shipping of my purchase?

We use nationally and internationally accredited courier services.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

Yes we do ship International. Please note that Shipping cost and Customs (If any) will be borne by the customer.

Q: Can I change my shipping address after I have placed an order?

Yes. Provided the order has not been processed for shipping.

Q: How do I track an order that has been shipped?

Once the shipment is in transit the customers will be receiving an email with the logistic partner and tracking id (Air ways bill number) details which we help the customer to track the orders.

Q: Can the shipping address be different from the billing address?

Yes. However we will take measures to confirm that the shipping address is a valid address.

Q: Who pays the shipping charges on returns and exchanges?

In case of returns on account of defects in the product, shipping charges will be borne by us. In all other cases, shipping charges will be borne by the customer.

Q: Is there any shipping insurance? Who pays this?

Only transit insurance shall be provided by Gomes Gems and it shall be valid only upto the time of acceptance of delivery.

Q: Do you have replacement policy?

We have a replacement policy for Jewellery as mentioned below. Please note that we do not a replacement policy for apparels.

Manufacturing Defects: In the unlikely event, if you receive a product with manufacturing defects, we guarantee 100% product replacement at no additional costs.

Damaged in Transit: If the product is damaged in transit we will replace the same product for you. Please do not accept the product you receive the box in tampered condition.

Q: Do you have a exchange policy?

We have 30days exchange policy available only for Diamond Jewellery.

  • Exchange on any product can only be done once.
  • No Exchange will be done, if we do not receive the product with issued certification or in case the product is found damaged.
  • Once the thorough quality check of the products is done, Gomes Gems will issue a credit voucher of the same value.
  • There will be no exchange on solitaires.
  • Once we receive the product at our logistics center, we will verify the product & its condition.
  • On exchange of any Diamond Jewellery, you will receive only Diamond Jewellery as a replacement.
  • After 30 days from the date of delivery, if you want an exchange of the purchased product, you will only receive 80% of the total product value through a credit voucher.
  • No Exchange will be made If we do not receive the product with issued certification or in case the product is damaged.
  • The refund amount will be processed only after thorough quality check of the product.
  • You can purchase any product of your choice of the same or higher value of the Credit Voucher issued to you. You will only be liable to pay the amount that is above the gift vouchers worth.

Q: Can I make an exchange or return of an online purchase at one of your stores?

Apologies. Currently we do not have a option of online returns or exchange to our retail stores.

Q: Do you have a return policy for jewel?

We do not have return policy. However we do have a friendly exchange and replacement policy

Q: Do you have a return policy for designer apparels?

Yes we do friendly return and refund policy for designer apparels.

Below mentioned are the terms on which the return will be considered.

  • Products which you received in "Damaged/Defective " condition
  • Products not as per description/photo on the website

All products must be returned in their original condition along with the bills and labels. register your dispute within 7 days of receipt of the product. Please note that disputes registered after 7 days .

Q: How long does it take to get a refund?

We will credit the amount back to you within 15-20 working days.

Q: How do I Cancel an Order?

Products and services once booked through Gomes Gems cannot be cancelled. Refund will NOT be initiated once the product is shipped or in transit. However, in extremely rare cases, refund shall be processed only if -

1. The specific product/model is out of Stock.

2. The order could not be shipped within the specified timeline.

3. The shipping address is not serviceable.

4. Any other force majeure reason beyond the control of vendors or, including bandh, strike, natural climatic, etc.
